First Issue: Making A Treacherous Intersection Safe |

 AU Park neighbors formed the Alliance for the Common Good as a catalyst for positive change in our community and a buffer against forces that would stifle positive progress.
The first issue Common Good is addressing is the treacherous six-way intersection at Fessenden Street, 45th Street, and River Road. To its credit, the DC Department of Transportation (DDOT) installed a temporary safety-median at this intersection, and should make permanent. Despite the great safety benefits conferred by the safety-median, a group is trying to force DDOT to remove it.
